Astray is very young Finnish band, formed-up by Markku Pääkkönen on autumn 1998. The music style what Astrayis playing for, is melodic and atmospheric dark-metal. Because there is nothing to tell about the history of Astray, here is short description about background of founder-member. Markku Pääkkönen started to paly drums somewhere in 1987 and was forming-up deathrash band named "Execution" on autumn '90. Music style changed into brutal and melodic death metal pretty soon, and the name changed into "Hallucatus" in the end of '93. Two bad-sounding demo tapes were recorded with the homestudio-equipment and spread for a few hundred copies. The band splitted-up in summer '95 because of studies (members moved around in Filland.)
